Head (m/f/d) of Lean Management
LIST Bau Holding serves as the central point of contact for all construction projects within the List Gruppe. We support our general contractors and coordinate operational tasks. Drawing on our technical and market expertise, we make the right decisions at the right time. This enables us to ensure short lines of communication.
The List Gruppe comprises several general contractors as well as development, consulting, and planning firms with a total of over 800 employees. As a full-service provider, we develop, plan, build, and revitalize real estate throughout Germany. All with a focus on offering the best possible properties. We place a high priority on sustainability and digitalization!
A hallmark of LIST is interacting with one another as equals—our hierarchies are flat, and there’s no such thing as “you” versus “us.” We encourage open, interdisciplinary exchange among colleagues and believe there are no stupid questions. We consistently receive top ratings in employer evaluations and have been recognized as a “TOP Company” by kununu for years.
Join the LIST team and help us with the construction of better real estate!
Your Responsibilities
As Head of Lean Management, you’ll be responsible for implementing, further developing, and promoting Lean methods across all operating companies. Your goal: to achieve measurable optimization of the value chain in terms of on-time delivery, quality, cost certainty, and customer satisfaction. Specifically, this means:
- Method Development: You’ll further develop Lean Management, oversee its implementation, and ensure consistent follow-up on the measures
- Training & Support: You’ll train operational colleagues, actively promote the Lean culture, and support project teams during the planning and execution phases
- Onboarding: You will systematically introduce project teams to Lean Construction—from the initial planning phase through to execution on the construction site
- Digital Tools: You’ll use existing digital tools for Lean implementation, further develop them, and promote their use throughout the company
- Leadership & Management: You define clear goals, monitor progress, provide regular feedback, and work closely with process management
Your Profile
You know how construction projects really work—and that’s exactly why you know where Lean makes the biggest difference. With this experience and these strengths, you’re a great fit for us:
- Vocational training or a degree in construction or engineering—supplemented by continuing education and professional experience in Lean management
- Several years of leadership experience—ideally in a technical or disciplinary management role
- In-depth, practical knowledge of Lean—not just from textbooks
- An independent, dedicated work style with clear communication at all levels
- A passion for developing others and actively driving change
Do you want to do more than just optimize processes—do you want to drive change across an entire organization? Then you’ve come to the right place. Together, we’ll build a Lean culture that lasts—and that grows.
