From your first click to your first day on the job—here’s how the application process works at LIST. Clear, personal, and without any unnecessary detours.
The application process
5 Steps to LIST
Our application process is clearly structured and streamlined to the essentials. We focus on genuine conversations rather than elaborate selection processes.
Send us your application—a resume is enough to start with.
We'll review your application and discuss it internally.
You'll receive prompt feedback—usually within a few days.
An initial meeting, usually online and on equal footing.
On-site at the location—with a glimpse into the team and the work environment.
We'll make a quick decision and get back to you as soon as possible.
Arriving at LIST
Your Onboarding
The contract is signed—now what? We won't leave you to fend for yourself. Our onboarding process ensures that you get off to a good start and quickly become part of the team.
At least one week before you start, you'll receive all the details: When does it start? Where do you need to go? Who will be there to greet you? That way, you can start off feeling relaxed instead of stressed.
On your first day, you’ll be greeted personally and given a tour of the office. You’ll meet your team, set up your workspace, and receive your IT equipment—laptop, login credentials, and everything else you need. And, of course, you’ll have lunch with the team.
During your first few weeks, you'll get up to speed—with support. You'll be paired with a buddy or mentor who will help you with any questions you have. E-learning modules will help you get familiar with our processes and tools.
During the third week, you'll travel to Nordhorn for our group-wide onboarding program. Over the course of two days, you'll get to know LIST, meet other new hires from all locations, participate in training sessions, and build your network.
After about 100 days, at the end of the probationary period, we’ll hold feedback sessions. We want to know how you’re doing—and we want you to know where you stand. Open communication from the very beginning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions About the Application
No, a resume is enough to start with. But if you'd like to tell us something that isn't in your resume—please do!
That depends entirely on the position and the circumstances—it wouldn’t be fair to give a one-size-fits-all answer. Here’s what we promise: You’ll always know where you stand. We’ll keep you updated, let you know when you can expect feedback, and if you have any questions, we’re always easy to reach. With us, you won’t be left hanging.
Apply for the position that best suits you—and if, while reviewing your application, we realize that you’d be an even better fit somewhere else, we’ll get in touch. If you’re interested in multiple positions, just mention it briefly in your cover letter or reply to our confirmation email. We’ll then make sure your application is forwarded to the right department.
Then send us a speculative application. We’re always looking for talented people—and sometimes a position doesn’t even exist until the right person comes along.
A relaxed atmosphere where we're on equal footing. We'll address each other informally, ask you about your background and what motivates you—and you can ask us anything you want to know. It's not an interrogation, but a chance to really get to know each other.
