Your Responsibilities
Once the project is accepted, that’s when your work really begins—and that’s exactly what you want. As a Warranty Manager, you’re the central point of contact for everything that happens after handover: you ensure that our clients remain satisfied in the long term and that defects don’t get put on the back burner. Your responsibilities include the following:
• Defect Management: Independently managing and tracking the resolution of defects by subcontractors—from initial documentation to final acceptance
• On-site presence: Participating in site visits with experts and reviewing claims regarding defects
• Customer communication: Providing technical support and advice to our customers, as well as ensuring a smooth flow of information among all parties involved
• Documentation & Invoice Verification: Comprehensive recording of all processes and verification of incoming invoices
• Deadlines & Maintenance: Monitoring warranty periods, as well as scheduling and coordinating maintenance cycles
• Legal Assessment: Evaluating defect claims while considering legal, economic, and customer-oriented aspects
Your Profile
You bring technical expertise to the table, maintain a clear overview even when handling multiple open cases, and never lose touch with people. Here’s what else you bring to the table:
• A degree in civil engineering, architecture, or facility management—or, alternatively, advanced training as a technician or master craftsman in building construction, MEP, or comparable fields
• Ideally, several years of professional experience in turnkey construction, e.g., as a construction manager—you understand how construction projects work
• Basic knowledge of construction law (VOB/BGB) and a strong grasp of liability and warranty issues
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to travel 2 to 3 days per week—you enjoy being on-site
After handover comes responsibility. At LIST, you’ll support our projects beyond the final acceptance phase and ensure that satisfied customers become long-term, committed partners. Does this sound like your next step?
