Your Responsibilities
A strong network is crucial—in your role as a strategic purchaser for precast concrete components and structural systems, you’ll systematically build a network of suitable subcontractors and continuously expand it. In addition, your responsibilities will include the following tasks:
- Managing procurement processes: You’ll manage and implement the defined procurement processes for precast concrete components and structural systems.
- Analyzing bids: You analyze bids and compare them with the respective project budgets.
- Conducting negotiations: You conduct price and contract award negotiations.
- Issuing orders: You initiate orders and place purchase orders.
- Conducting clarification meetings: You conduct technical clarification meetings.
Your Profile
Your motto: Tough on the issues, gentle with people—has this approach often helped you achieve your goals? The following points round out your profile as a strategic buyer:
- Completed training in a technical or business-related field
- Professional experience as a site manager for precast concrete/structural systems or a specialist site manager for precast concrete/structural systems, ideally with procurement experience
- Knowledge of contract and procurement law is desirable
- A structured and independent work style
- Confidence in negotiations and the ability to assert yourself
