Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Purchaser, you’ll be responsible for the cost-effective, high-quality, and timely procurement of construction services and materials for our building projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Specifications: Preparing specifications based on planning documents, construction descriptions, and project requirements
- Quantity Surveying & Bid Review: Calculating quantities, reviewing and evaluating subcontractor bids for completeness, plausibility, and cost-effectiveness
- Awarding Contracts & Contract Management: Conducting contract award meetings, preparing contracts, and awarding contracts in accordance with company standards and the VOB
- Subcontractor Management: Identifying and qualifying subcontractors and suppliers, as well as continuously maintaining our network
- Cost Estimation & Standardization: Assisting in the development of unit price lists and cost estimation tools
- Market & Processes: Monitoring market developments and actively contributing to the improvement of procurement processes and systems
Your Profile
You understand how construction projects work—and how to get the best results for everyone through procurement. What you bring to the table:
- Technical training, a degree in architecture or civil engineering, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in tendering and procurement of subcontractor services in the general construction industry
- Knowledge of VOB/B and VOB/C and their practical application
- Proficiency with AVA software (e.g., iTwo) and experience in process optimization
- A structured, reliable work style and the ability to keep a clear head even during stressful periods
