Your Responsibilities
As a construction manager, you’ll pull everything together on the job site—and ensure that plans turn into real buildings:
- Manage the construction process: You’ll coordinate and oversee the entire construction process—keeping an eye on costs, deadlines, and quality.
- Ensuring quality: You inspect materials and workmanship according to applicable standards and regulations—and follow up if something isn’t right.
- Managing subcontractors: You’re the main point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers—from construction meetings to invoice review.
- Solving problems: When things get out of hand on the construction site, you quickly find a pragmatic solution—without unnecessary detours.
- Ensuring safety: As the responsible site manager, you’re accountable for a safe construction site—and lead by example every day.
Your Profile
You have firsthand experience in the construction industry and know how to really get things done on a construction site:
- Completed technical training or a degree in civil engineering—supplemented by several years of experience in construction management.
- Solid knowledge of the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures), construction law, and quality management.
- Clear, assertive communication—with subcontractors, suppliers, and your own team.
- A structured approach to work, the ability to handle pressure, and a focus on what matters most—even when things get hectic on the job site.
