Your Responsibilities
You don’t just find your way through the jungle of numbers in data center projects—you know every path. The following tasks fall within your area of responsibility:
- Quantity takeoff and unit price calculation: Precise groundwork for economically sound bids
- Overall Cost Estimation: Independently managing the cost estimation process while coordinating with all relevant disciplines
- Project selection: Actively participating in the evaluation and selection of suitable projects
- Opportunities & Risks: Identifying and evaluating potential, risks, and cost increases in the data center environment
- Project consulting: Supporting our clients with technical expertise in all aspects of cost estimation and costs
- Database Maintenance: Managing and further developing our cost estimation databases
Your Profile
Your structured approach to work and your eye for detail make all the difference—especially on projects of this complexity. You bring the following experience and knowledge to the role:
- A degree in civil engineering or architecture, or alternatively, certification as a state-certified construction technician
- Several years of professional experience in cost estimation, ideally related to technically challenging construction projects
- Knowledge of the data center environment or a willingness to learn quickly—we’ll support you in this
- Experience with industry-specific software, such as RIB iTWO, is a plus
- Diligence, a sense of responsibility, and reliability
- Ability to work well in a team and a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration
