Your Responsibilities
Networking is key—as a buyer, you’ll build and maintain a network of suitable subcontractors. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Managing and implementing defined procurement processes
- Analyzing bids and comparing them with the respective project budgets
- Conducting price and contract award negotiations
- Issuing the order and placing the purchase
- Drafting and negotiating framework agreements
- Establishing a pool of partner subcontractors
Your Profile
Your motto: Tough on the issue, gentle with people—has this approach often helped you achieve your goals? The following points round out your profile:
- Completed training in a technical or business field
- Professional experience in purchasing or sales, ideally in the construction industry or building materials trade
- Basic knowledge of contract and procurement law is desirable
- Structured and independent work style
- Confidence in negotiations and the ability to get things done
