BIM Manager (m/f/d)
At LIST Ingenieure, we offer qualified engineering expertise to construction companies. This allows us to play a very special role for investors and building users. Through the seamless integration of architecture, building services engineering, civil engineering, and structural engineering, we can best meet the needs of building users. We begin planning in Phase 0, using 3D modeling and BIM methods.
LIST comprises several general contractors as well as development, consulting, and planning firms—and we’re constantly growing. As a full-service provider, we develop, plan, build, and revitalize properties throughout Germany. All with a focus on delivering the best possible properties. We place a high priority on sustainability and digitalization!
A hallmark of LIST is interacting with one another as equals—our hierarchies are flat, and there’s no such thing as “you” versus “us.” We encourage open, interdisciplinary exchange among colleagues, and we believe there are no stupid questions. In employer rankings, we consistently receive top marks and have been recognized as a “TOP Company” by kununu for years.
Join the LIST team and help us design better buildings!
You’ll ensure that BIM at LIST not only works but also keeps getting better. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Overseeing BIM standards: You’ll be responsible for the company-wide BIM standards and methods—you’ll maintain and further develop them, including AiA and BAP templates, LOIN catalogs, and modeling and data standards.
- Evaluating client requirements: You’ll analyze and evaluate AiA and BAP documents—clearly identifying deviations from internal standards and determining necessary actions.
- Advising sales and project teams: You’ll serve as the central point of contact for BIM issues during the bidding process and provide technical support to project teams from the very beginning.
- Supporting BIM coordinators: You provide methodological guidance to our BIM and discipline coordinators on project templates and interfaces. If your capacity allows it alongside your primary BIM management responsibilities, you’ll also take on BIM coordination for smaller projects or assist with specific BIM coordination tasks—including model and clash detection checks.
You’re not just familiar with BIM in theory—you’ve applied it in practice and helped develop it further. With these qualifications, you’re a perfect fit for us:
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a comparable technical field; alternatively, relevant vocational training with corresponding professional experience
- In-depth, practical knowledge of BIM management—particularly of AiA, BAP, LOIN, and DIN EN ISO 19650; BIM training or a comparable qualification is a plus
- Experience with openBIM, IFC, and BCF, as well as model-based quality and clash detection, preferably using Solibri
- Strong communication and consulting skills—you can explain complex technical issues in an understandable way
- A structured, independent work style, analytical thinking, and a passion for sharing knowledge
Do you see BIM not just as a method, but as a real catalyst for better real estate? Then you’ve come to the right place.
The future of construction starts with the right people—build your career with LIST!
