Your Responsibilities
You’ll support our team in cost and quantity take-off as well as scheduling for functionally specified building construction projects, and you’ll also oversee these projects during their construction phase. In doing so, you’ll work very closely with construction and project management as well as the cost estimation department. Your responsibilities will include, among other things, the following tasks:
- Schedule and site setup planning
- Tendering for subcontractor services and assisting with the awarding of contracts
- Clarifying technical questions and assisting with bid evaluation
- Development of special proposals
- Site preparation following order receipt, scheduling, and control (Lean Construction Management)
- Support with billing for subcontractor services and the preparation of change orders
Your Profile
You’re eager to support our team and round out your profile with the following experience and skills:
- Completed training in the construction industry, e.g., as a drafting technician or construction technician, or a relevant degree, e.g., in civil engineering or architecture
- Basic knowledge of BIM and experience in preparing bills of quantities, ideally using common tendering software (e.g., iTWO)
- A precise and structured approach to work, along with a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills and an open-minded personality
