Civil Engineering Estimator (m/f/d)
At LIST Ingenieure, we provide expert engineering services to the construction companies within the List Gruppe. This allows us to play a very special role for investors and building users. Through the seamless integration of architecture, building services engineering, civil engineering, and structural engineering, we are able to best meet the needs of building users. We begin planning in Phase 0, using 3D modeling and BIM methods.
The List Gruppe comprises several general contractors as well as development, consulting, and planning firms with a total of over 800 employees. As a full-service provider, we develop, plan, build, and revitalize real estate throughout Germany. All with a focus on delivering better real estate. Your Responsibilities
Do you find networking easy, and do you always come away with new ideas from professional exchanges with colleagues? You’ll also find yourself in the following responsibilities:
- Independently calculating costs for earthwork, civil engineering, and road construction projects
- Actively coordinating with your team and the specialized departments of the construction company carrying out the work
- Developing civil engineering concepts and designing feasible custom solutions
- Establishing and expanding a network of partner companies and engineers
- Supporting the sales teams of the construction companies and advising clients during the design phase, as well as assisting with contract drafting with the building owners
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities, risks, and cost increases, and optimizing them
Your Profile
Thanks to your structured approach to work, you always find your way through the jungle of numbers. The following points round out your profile:
- A degree in civil engineering or architecture, or certification as a state-certified construction technician with a focus on civil engineering
- Several years of professional experience in civil engineering, ideally in cost estimation
- Experience with industry-specific software (e.g., RIB iTWO) is desirable
- Conscientiousness, a sense of responsibility, and reliability
- Business acumen and an interest in optimization
- Customer focus and ability to work well in a team
