BIM Modeler (m/f/d) Civil Engineering
At LIST Ingenieure, we provide expert engineering services to the construction companies within the List Gruppe. This allows us to play a unique role for both investors and building users. Through the seamless integration of architecture, building services engineering, civil engineering, and structural engineering, we are able to best meet the needs of building users. We begin planning at Service Phase 0, using 3D modeling and BIM methods.
The List Gruppe comprises several general contractors as well as development, consulting, and planning firms with a total of over 800 employees. As a full-service provider, we develop, plan, build, and revitalize real estate throughout Germany. All with a focus on delivering better properties. Your Responsibilities
As a BIM modeler, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that has long recognized the opportunities of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and is continuously advancing it. As part of 3D modeling, you’ll support the creation of sub-models for outdoor facilities, ducts, and piping, working closely with the work planning and cost estimation teams. Your responsibilities at a glance:
- Reviewing and implementing guidelines and specifications in the digital model, as well as publishing and managing models and plans in the project space/CDE
- Capturing and creating as-built models for demolition and dismantling projects
- Conducting preliminary studies for quantity takeoff to support work planning and cost estimation
- Point of contact for digital planning and execution of our projects, as well as for project-related BIM processes and workflows in accordance with the BAP
- Active participation in the further development and implementation of standards in the BIM environment
Your Profile
Your motto: "We can do even better!" You have an eye for detail, recognize opportunities for optimization, and enjoy working to continuously improve processes and results. You also identify with the following points:
- Completed training as a drafting technician with a focus on civil and landscape engineering, or a degree in civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, initial practical experience in 3D infrastructure modeling and the application of BIM
- A strong interest in digital planning tools and IT applications
- Good spatial awareness and enthusiasm for digital construction planning
- An independent, meticulous, and team-oriented work style, as well as a passion for communicating within the project team
